SITE are excited to be handing over a major renewal of a vacant 2 storey commercial building in Fremantle to new education tenants. 6 transparent, flexible learning areas open up the ground plane to the landscape and are connected by a central, light-filled incidental learning space linking the entrances, north to south. The upper floor has been transformed into a year group common area which overlooks the campus to the north and the Fremantle port beyond. A new ‘extension’ of the existing campus, SITE worked closely with the College to ensure safety, supervision, and student movement were a design priority.
