After 6 months of operation, we are pleased to hear that the spaces we created at the Rockingham Youth Centre have been successful for both Youth users and staff. At SITE, we are committed to making flexible spaces that respond to our client’s individual needs. How do we do this? Through our collaborative process of genuinely listening and establishing a deep understanding of the users’ desires and wishes and creating space around these.
“The space has allowed for multi-use in the various areas – counselling/intensive 1:1 support, workshops and structured activities, and recreational drop-in style use. We’ve used all the different rooms/spaces in the Centre for various activities and are grateful to have such diversity in the rooms available (outdoor activity areas, workshops, training rooms, counselling rooms etc)” – City of Rockingham Youth Centre Coordinator
