SITE Architecture Studio is an established architecture and design practice based on Whadjuk Noongar Country (Perth), WA. Our approach to projects and within the office is based on positive collaboration in a supportive studio environment.
Our focus is on providing unique design responses for public and private clients through a collaborative process of research and inquiry. We have project experience across most sectors and strive to create inspiring and enriching community projects for Local Government and Education clients. We prioritize making places and creating architecture that enhances the lives of individuals and encourages the growth of sustainable communities.
The Role
With our increasing success in education and public projects we are seeking to expand our Perth based team with a Graduate of Interior Architecture. The position is full-time and based in our Perth office.
This is an exciting career growth opportunity that will allow you to take ownership of components of interior design and contribute to architectural projects collaborating with the larger project team in the building design, documentation and delivery.
The key areas of responsibility of the role will include:
- Design and Documentation of the Interior Design of Architectural projects.
- Support in the preparation of reports and documentation packages (including drawings, finishes & loose furniture schedules and specifications) relevant to the interior design across each phase of the project.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and suppliers as relevant
About you
As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate your ability by working with a collaborative, creative and supportive team. We are looking for people who want to work in a positive studio environment and are willing to learn and grow,
Key Criteria
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Interior Architecture/ Interior Design
- Experience working in an interior architecture role preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
- Familiarity with the use of REVIT, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape preferred.
- Time Management skills to enable prioritization of tasks across multiple projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team,
- Knowledge of Local products and application of interior design.
