SITE architecture’s ability to partner with the Brightwater team was key to the success of the project. Their interpretation of the brief into the built environment has produced a facility that not only supports all of the service delivery requirements but has also created a sense of community amongst both clients and staff. It has successfully included the staged rehabilitation process, homelike living environments for clients, and a variety of features identified in consultation with staff to enhance client access and staff support.
Stephen Hart, the lead Architect, was extremely collaborative and available throughout the extended building process assisting with the complexity of constructing the facility whilst continuing to operate the service on the same site as well as in liaison with the builders and consulting engineers.
